There is trouble in the churches
as people bring to bear
what fleshliness causes damage
to the work done with care

not seeing their sin they practice
thinking they are okay
some promote a way of hindrance
to unity displayed
____
allowing the enemy in
to foster evil thoughts
worldly minded Christians deny
their sin in which they’re caught
____
and go about their evil ways
complaining to an ear
of all the faults they think they see
and gossip what they hear
____
forming into groups whom they choose
a social club of sorts
promotes a form of godliness
where godliness falls short
____
for they deny the real power
that keeps them from a fall
through the Holy Spirit’s unction
to teach them one and all
____
that Jesus Christ is Lord of Lords
He commands we obey
to live a life in unity
with love to guide the way
